If you want to accomplish something, you need the energy to do so! Whether you are burnt out, exhausted or both, you are less likely to actually be productive!
Make sure that you are giving yourself enough time throughout the day to wind down and relax, so that you can really prepare yourself for a few hours of productivity!

One of the keys to being productive is giving yourself a clear sense of direction.
You can achieve this by setting goals! These goals needs to be specific and achievable if you want to make the most out of your time.
If you have to study for an english exam, then your goal could be something like: ‘I will study for the english exam 3 times a week until the date of the exam.’
This is a goal which has both a time frame and specific information to guide you! Once you break down a task into smaller steps, it is easier to actually carry out the task! When you know what you want to achieve, you are more likely to stay focused and productive!

2. Prioritize Your Tasks For A Better Chance At Productivity
Taking the time to prioritize your tasks is perhaps one of the most important steps in learning how to be more productive!

It also gives you the chance to evaluate how much time you can spend on each task!
All of these features are why creating a daily planner is the ideal tool to increase productivity! You can simply start by using your list of prioritised tasks and allocate them in block in your planner. If it helps, you can even try to be creative about it and personalise your planner in a way that will inspire you! This could be anything from drawing on your planner to using stickers, whatever works for you.

While it may seem counter-intuitive, taking regular breaks can actually increase and enhance your productivity!

Multi tasking might seem like the best solution to achieving a big amount of productivity. However, this is quite far from the truth!
In fact, multi tasking can lead to reduced productivity! Our mind is just not fully equipped to deal with multiple tasks at once.
Dedicating your time and energy to one task at a time is actually far more beneficial.
When you concentrate on a single task, you can complete it more efficiently and produce higher quality work! So, remember to give your full attention to the task before moving onto the next one!
