How to use the Pips solver
How do I enter a Pips puzzle?
Pick the board size, tap “+ New region” for each colored area, set its rule and number, then paint its cells. Use “No cell” for gaps in the board. Type the dominoes as pairs like 6-5 3-3 0-1, then press Solve.
Can it import today's puzzle?
Yes. Tap Today's Easy, Medium or Hard to load the current daily board, then press Solve or change it first.
Does the solver explain the answer?
Yes. It places one domino per step and says why: which cell is the tightest spot, which region rule forces the pips, and how many other placements were possible. Step through it or show everything at once.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The solver runs entirely in your browser.
